Our Mission
The mission of the Holy Family Special Needs Foundation (HFSNF) is to foster the human, intellectual, and spiritual growth of individuals with disabilities through education, activities, and services which help them to be active disciples of Jesus Christ in the Diocese of Wichita.
What we do
The Inclusion Grants Program provides funds to Catholic schools in the Diocese of Wichita to support inclusive education where students with disabilities can learn in a Catholic environment alongside their peers.

The MPD helps each parish keep all parishioners actively involved in parish life regardless of type, severity, or age of onset of a disability, through programs, events, and consultation.

Dear Friends:
What a great year the Holy Family Special Needs Foundation has had! As we have done for over 20 years, Inclusion Grants were awarded to 33 diocesan schools to assist over 600 special needs students. These grants not only benefited individual students, but the entire school community as well. Teachers, staff, and typically developing students witnessed the love that abounds when students of all abilities learn together. And let’s be honest–isn’t that a pro-life witness as well?
In other facets of the foundation’s mission, the Ministry with Persons with Disabilities was hard at work with numerous programs. Retreats and sacramental preparation were offered, opening the door of faith to many. In addition, the diocesan Special Olympics team ran, jumped, bowled, and scored baskets,
fostering healthy athletic competition for athletes in a wide ranging age group. And
if that weren’t enough, the HFSNF Board held its first ever Trivia Night fundraiser. Besides being a load of fun, the event raised over $57,000 to further the foundation’s work.
That’s a tremendous amount of activity for which we are both grateful and proud. Thank you and God bless you for gracing us with your support which made all this possible!
